Biotech Training Facility and Endress+Hauser join forces to train biotech engineers

Endress+Hauser has a large selection of instrumentation that meet life sciences industry standards. The offering is permanently adapted to current industry regulations where GxP’s requirements and design specifications are key. Operational excellence is as well continuously under scrutiny by the industry therefore the goal to reduce risks, maintenance efforts or downtime during calibration and delivering real-time information, has been implemented by design in the Endress+Hauser equipment. For new facilities qualified resource and expertise are crucial in order to manage and reduce complexity of instrumentation through standardization and shorten start-up time. Endress+Hauser experienced engineers are often embedded into client’s project engineering team to take over responsibility to select the right product for each application.
Biotech Training Facility is a production center where pharmaceutical training is given in an actual, real-life environment. Since the start in January 2016, Biotech Training Facility is located in the heart of Leiden Bio Science Park. The facility is completely equipped with cleanrooms, laboratories and a technical area full of state-of-the-art, easily accessible utilities where employees are trained in working under GMP and biosafety conditions. The facility can also be used as a pilot plant for testing equipment and processes.
Recognizing the unique position Biotech Training Facility has and sustaining its mission as knowledge providing center Endress+Hauser has donated new and state-of-the-art equipment. A number of instruments are designed and produced according to ASME BPE requirements which are a must-to-have in each validated biotech facility. Flowmeters are also part of the donation including a number of coriolis massa flowmeters one of them of 2mm line size able to accurately measure mass flow down to the gram per second!

The courses are aimed at professionals of all sectors, including operators, scientists, technical staff, quality assurance officers (QA) and qualified persons (QP). They offer a broad range of standard training courses as well as customized training courses that are tailor made to fit the special needs and requirements of their clients.
Courses covering R&D, laboratory, operations and quality has been already scheduled for the coming 2017. By partnering with Endress+Hauser, Biotech Training Facility would like to broad the course proposal to process instrumentation. Endress+Hauser knowledge of the Life Science Industry and comprehensive instrumentation portfolio will provide the adequate support for the development and the execution of the trainings.
