Office Manager (available on Fridays | 0.8–1.0 FTE)

Biotech Training Facility is a training centre in Leiden that offers theoretical and practical pharmaceutical training in the fields of GMP, quality and production. The courses take place in a realistic environment, as the facility is fully equipped with laboratories, cleanrooms and a technical area.
Tasks and Responsibilities
As an Office Manager you are the first point of contact for clients, suppliers and other visitors. You play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of all day-to-day operations and in creating an efficient working environment. You provide comprehensive support to management and other colleagues in the areas of finance, HR, planning and marketing activities, and actively contribute ideas on improving and streamlining business processes. The Office Manager is the internal go-to person for a wide range of matters.
Key responsibilities:
Supporting HR activities and the onboarding of new colleagues.
Organising and coordinating the administrative and logistical aspects of training courses and events.
Purchasing and managing office supplies, stocks and marketing materials.
Supervising the reception, lobby and pantries to ensure they are tidy and presentable.
In addition to these core responsibilities, you will be available to carry out a variety of supporting more ad hoc tasks to assist various colleagues and departments.
Skills and Experience
HBO level of thinking/working, or equivalent level gained through work experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Dutch and English
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with SharePoint is an advantage
