Visit Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science (OCW) - 21 January 2026

Today, BTF welcomed representatives from the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science (OCW). The visit spotlighted the Faculty of Science at Leiden University and the dynamic innovation ecosystem of Key Region Leiden, including the Leiden Bio Science Park (LBSP).

As a leading player within the LBSP ecosystem, Biotech Training Facility (BTF) highlighted its key role in educating the future life sciences workforce. By offering a unique bridge between (academic) education and real-world practice, we help prepare talent for careers at the heart of the life sciences sector.

We were delighted to host guests from the Directorates of Research and Science Policy (Directie Onderzoek en Wetenschapsbeleid) and Higher Education and Student Grants (Directie Hoger Onderwijs en Studiefinanciering), and to engage in meaningful dialogue on future opportunities.
